The PublicsLab strongly disavows acts of police violence against Black people and is in solidarity with those who protest in the name of justice and reform. We are committed to supporting the work of CUNY students, faculty, and staff whose work actively resists and subverts racist and state-sanctioned violence, including within the university itself and in the publics that we all serve. We reaffirm our commitment to supporting scholarship that seeks to further equity and justice, including and especially racial justice and anti-racist practice.
